Clear your schedules! Fremont Acura has agreed to allow us to hold a meet at their dealership to see their new NSX.
Fremont Acura will make available their NSX sales person (Scott) and their service advisor (Justin) both of whom went to Ohio to tour the plant and got to drive the new NSX. One of Fremont’s NSX techs will also be there for a Q&A session so you can learn everything you ever wanted to know about the new NSX.
Possible group photo with the new NSX – stay tuned.
Please RSVP by end of day Friday August 12 on the closed Facebook group for NorCal NSX Owners (link below) so that we will have an idea of headcount for the food & drinks. Thanks!
More updates as we get them! This is a great kick-off for Monterey Car Week which follows!
This is the BIG ONE.
We are combining two fun drives into one big drive on Sunday August 28th. Everyone knows how much fun Angeles Crest Hwy is and a lot of you have been on our Lake Arrowhead drive in past years. This will be longest drive we have done so far. We will start at the beginning of Angeles Crest Hwy in La Canada Flintridge and go all the way to highway 138 and continue to Lake Arrowhead to have lunch at the usual spot overlooking the lake.
We are also using this drive as NSXCA membership drive to get new members. The club will put some money towards lunch for all current and new members that join between now and Friday August 26th. There will also be giveaways from the club. We want people to see that being a member of NSXCA is not just about getting a magazine and being able to go to NSXPO. We will be having other events that the club will support as well so as they say “membership has it’s benefits”. So signup at.
The meeting spot will be at Taylor’s Steak House parking lot behind the restaurant at 6:30 am and leaving promptly at 7:00. Address is 901 Foothill Blvd. La Canada Flintridge 91011
Link below to sing up.
We are going to have our first drive of the new year in Malibu Canyon on Saturday April 22nd. We will be having lunch at Yellow Fever in Venice after the drive. The meeting spot will be at 7:30 am in the old Albertson’s parking lot at 3443 S. Sepulveda Blvd off the 405 south of I-10. It’s at the corner of Sepulveda and Palms. We are starting this early because we need to get to Yellow Fever a little early so they can accommodate our group. Link to event below.

It’s back for the 7th year.
Our Late Summer Beach BBQ will be on Sunday September 24th in Huntington Beach at 10:00 am. We will be at the covered picnic tables near Brookhurst St (that’s if Robert remembers to get up early enough to save them for us). Enter at the Magnolia St. entrance from PCH and go straight for about a half a mile and look for the NSX banner. The NSXCA will reimburse current members for the cost of parking so members keep your parking receipt and give it to me when you arrive. This is a social event so NSX’s are not required but bring them if you can fit everything you need for the day.
It will be a pot luck as always so post up what you are bringing as to help others decide what they can bring.
NSX WestFest is back by popular demand for a second year! Join us in Las Vegas from Thursday April 26 until Sunday April 29, 2018. We look forward to returning to the Gold Coast Casino & Resort Hotel who are providing us with great rates again this year!
We’re still working on finalizing the NSX WestFest agenda but here’s what we have so far. Thursday evening we will have shuttles to take us downtown to the Fremont Experience. Friday’s lunch & car show will be hosted at Findlay Acura followed by either karting or autocross (waiting on confirmation of one of these activities) with free time in the evening to pursue your own plans. Saturday starts with Cars & Coffee at SpeedVegas before a scenic drive that will include a stop at the Primm outlets for some shopping followed by the closing banquet dinner with sponsor prizes for raffle.
Registration fee for NSXCA members and their guests if they have one is $130.00 per person. Non-members and their guests is $160.00 per person. If you are not a member now would be a good time to join and save $30.00 on this event.
Registration is currently open.
Check out www.nsxca.org for updates on NSX WestFest & see you in Las Vegas!

NSXPO is an NSX Club of America annual event. To participate, you must be a member of the NSX Club of America. Members will be notified first on when NSXPO registration will open. The last time NSXPO was held in the iconic San Francisco Bay Area was in 2003. If you would like to attend this year’s NSXPO, make sure you sign up to be a member now to avoid missing out. As with recent NSXPOs, we expect this year’s event to sell out quickly. To join NSXCA, go to https://nsxca.org/membership-center/.
We are honored to have a contingent from the NSX Club of Japan attending this year including revered Japanese racer Motoharu Kurosawa (“Gan-san”). Come and leave your heart in San Francisco this fall!
