I had the opportunity to be at Daytona for the Rolex 24 Hours featuring the debut of the 2017 NSX as campaigned by Michael Shank Racing. Mike was gracious to meet our members and give us an up close look at the new NSX in the garage area of the track. The cars ran strong and it looked like we might get a podium from one of the two entries but the hood and fender flew off during the 24th hour and unfortunately the car running P2 had to retire with 20 minutes left. Nevertheless, it finished P11 and the second Shank NSX finished 5th.
