Meyer Shank Racing (formerly Michael Shank Racing) was formed in 1989 in Columbus, Ohio when Michael Shank first began driving racing cars professionally before retiring from the cockpit in 1997. In its third decade of racing, Meyer Shank Racing has raced to victory lane in the inaugural years of the Acura NSX GT3 on the way to securing the 2019 IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar with drivers Trent Hindman and Mario Farnbacher in the No. 86 Acura NSX GT3. Over the past three race seasons of IMSA GTD competition, MSR has scored five wins, five pole positions and 17 podium finishes onboard the Acura NSX GT3 platform.
