Vice President Candidates

Terrence (Terry) Brown
Hi NSXCA Family,
I’m Terrence (Terry) Brown also known as Single Samurai on NSX Prime. Yes, was a long time ago! Taken Samurai Now! I’ve had the pleasure of being an NSXCA member since 2002 / 16 years. I’ve been coordinating South-Central events over the years and have written numerous articles for NSX Driver. I was the SC Rep from 2014 to 2017. I’m the Admin for the Regional NSX Facebook page NSXoTX (NSX Owners of Texas and surrounding states) supporting with planning events.

My NSX Ownership history, began with my 1994 Formula Red. I strayed for more power to other exotics then in 2000 I purchased my Second NSX in Monaco Blue, strayed again before realizing the NSX became my benchmark and I must always have one in the garage. Purchased my Third NSX in 2011, a 2002 Spa Yellow which I still own. Last year I purchased a 2017 Gen2 in 130R White. I Love NSX’s!

I’m honored to accept the nomination for VP. I feel very confident supporting and assisting the growth and representation of the NSXCA moving forward. I will put the Club Membership FRONT & CENTER!

I have been a member of several Exotic Car Clubs and must say without a doubt that the NSX Owners / Community make the NSX Ownership Experience what it is! A Blast! I look forward to seeing many of you old & new friends.

Thank you for your support!

May Lee
May a.k.a. Ms. Purple!!
I became the NSXCA Vice President in 2006 when Larry Bastanza was elected President & he asked me to backfill his VP position. Since then I’ve won multiple NSXCA elections to continue to be your VP & I am enthusiastically running again this year.

Top 10 major accomplishments during my tenure:
• Volunteered major time & effort to the core team who will host NSXPO 2018 in San Francisco (last time it was here was in 2003)
• Key contributor to our website re-launch and a significant content provider
• Established NSX Driver editorial calendar to ensure on-time quarterly publication with outstanding content
• Created an NSXCA brochure to help market our group to potential new members
• Drove restoration of membership cards being re-issued to members after a 3-year lapse
• Championed a member survey to solicit feedback for club improvement
• Strengthened our partnership with Acura and been a trusted contact for them within NSXCA for over a decade
• Secured coveted Quail tickets from Acura for NSXCA volunteers as well as members
• Re-established monthly concalls with the NSXCA board for better engagement
• Represented NSXCA at events in Canada & Japan (& hopefully Europe in the near future)

I have the leadership, vision & drive to work hard on behalf of NSXCA.
Please trust me with your vote so that I can continue to make our club the best that it can be!

Secretary Candidate
Cindy Wisner
My name is Cindy Wisner. I have been serving as Secretary of the NSX Club of America for the past year following retirement of RSO – Bob Ondrovik who served as Secretary for more than 13 years.
My husband Neal & I have lived in Michigan since 1981. We have enjoyed many sports cars before our car experiences brought us to the Acura brand. We now have a garage full of Acuras & Hondas. I am the fortunate owner of a 2005 LBBP NSX. We are fans of the 2002- 2005 LBBP and Imola Orange NSXs.
I have been a SCCA member since 2009 & volunteer in flagging & communication at Formula SAE competition, club & pro races (SCCA, ALMS/IMSA, Pirelli World Challenge & Indy Cars).
I am a compliance attorney for a large Catholic Health System representing > 90 hospitals, 150,000 employees & 4000 physicians in billing, collection, government investigations, privacy, tax & contract matters. I have been practicing law in Michigan for > 35 years.
Our NSXCA members are the most important asset of our association. I am striving to show each member how much they are valued. I respect the fiduciary role the Secretary plays & will apply my best efforts to it. I would be honored to work hard to keep you informed & represent your interests in NSX Club of America.

Southeast Regional Representative Candidates

Joe Guttieri
My name is Joe Guttieri.
Many of you already know me from either my posts on NSX Owners Group & Prime, answering questions day & night, from 2016 NSXcapades or NSXcapades.
Even though I’m fairly recent to the NSX community I have been heavily involved in everything NSX since the day a bought the car in Feb 2015. The car I bought had been in storage from 2000, so despite being in very good cosmetic condition it required substantial mechanical restoration and updating, including a new head. I do all my own work to keep the bills down and Terry (wife) happy, and I don’t trust anyone else to work on it. I also share everything I do on the car in the hope of helping other NSX owners and future owners. My wife is also very involved with the car; whether it’s going to events with me or just dealing with me disappearing into the garage. Being part of the NSX community has been a fantastic experience. The people are great and supportive, and I’ve made friends from all over the world. I’ve been involved in clubs almost my entire life, including 8 years on the board and past president of the local rowing club. Having extensive club experience I can say that NSXCA is the best organization I’ve belonged to. With that in mind I would consider it a privilege to represent the NSXCA members in the SE Region as their NSXCA Representative.
Thank you for your consideration.

John Komar
My interest in Honda began in the early 80’s. A ’94 Prelude Si found its way into the garage for a few years. But the dream was always to own the ultimate Honda car, an NSX. I finally acquired my first one, a ’99 Berlina Black in 2006. For about 5 years the NSX shared the garage with a ’94 Corvette ZR-1. When an ’02 Silverstone NSX became available in Raleigh, the ZR-1 lost its place in the garage. I now own two NSX’s.

I have been engaged with the NSX community since ’06. As the self-appointed NSX event organizer in the Raleigh area I went on to chair the 2013 NSXPO. This was the first national event that saw Ted Klaus and Doug Danuser (Honda Jet) participate in NSXPO.
I have continued to organize a regional event (Mid-East NSX Meet) here in Raleigh every May.
I’d like to continue serving the NSX community in the Southeast as the SE Regional Rep.
